At 2,000 meters above sea level, Alberto Martínez embarked on a bold dream when he took ownership of La Parada fifteen years ago.
This Gesha undergoes an anaerobic natural process, a prolonged fermentation in oxygen-free tanks, fostering a dense, lush complexity. Majority of Colombia's production is in washed coffee so this lot is truly special. Each sip is a delicate perfume: violet blossoms, ripe alphonso mango, tart cherry, and juicy blueberry. The final cup is bright, layered, and deeply graceful.
Roaster's Notes: This is a signature gesha coffee full of fruity and floral notes. Clean for an anaerobic natural process coffee and incredibly juicy.
