[ROAST ON 25/8] Ethiopia Rumudamo Natural 74158

This coffee was actually sent to me by mistake. But what a pleasant mistake it was. This coffee won 5th Place in the Regional Taste of Harvest and its not hard to see why. Rumudamo. Ethiopia’s legendary Rumudamo in Sidama’s Arbegona district comes a natural-process lot that captures the soul of its high-altitude terroir and the exacting pride of producer Aklilu Admassu. His award-winning precision has propelled him onto Cup of Excellence podiums and now you can taste the dedication in this coffee. 

Every cherry is hand-selected and spread carefully across African drying beds, where it’s turned with intention to ensure uniform drying and flavor clarity. The result is a cup that offers a vivid flavor journey.

Roaster's Notes: I was expecting this coffee to be like most explosive Ethiopian naturals but it is a subtle and delicate coffee that is very tea like in its presentation and it surprised me.
